A local innkeeper, William Van Tilburgh (portrayed by George Luck, Jr) spoke to the townspeople about how both Continental and Royal forces had come through the village in the past year, and how fearful the citizens were.
Soon the soldiers arrived
The generals conferred– note: this was done on Church St. rather than in the graveyard. Microphones allowed the crowd to hear the entire discussion… to Brunswick or to Morristown?
And then there were cookies and hot cider at the Kingston United Methodist Church!
